Chuck Garvin is an accomplished photographer and presently shoots for the
Register-Herald in Beckley, WV. He has been published in such places as MSNBC.com,
Dateline NBC, and The Philadelphia Weekly. In addition, he has won several awards from
the West Virginia Press Association as well as the West Virginia Associated Press. Not only
is photography his profession, it's also his hobby and bluegrass artists show up often in
